I started taking portrait pictures primarily by accident. Back when I first started teaching, someone convinced me that I should be the yearbook advisor. Foolishly I said yes - and the rest, as they say, is history. I started my photography career just taking pictures for students who did not have senior pictures for the yearbook on a small digital camera that had a memory card that held like 100 shots. I then decided to take a risk and get a better camera - a Nikon D90 which I only just retired! I was lucky that my friends, students and family humored me and let me take pictures of them.

Always Learning!
While I love the pictures I take, I am a big believer that you always need to keep growing and learning. I just purchased a brand new camera and I'm ready to test it out! I have always wanted to up my strobe game and improve my lighting techniques so I am excited to start growing these skills.

Above all, Love What You Do...
Most importantly for me is that photography is something that I love doing. I love when clients are thrilled with their pictures and even more, I love the opportunity to capture precious moments in their lives. I am very blessed that this passion of mine brings me so much joy!
I look forward to working with you!
