Photography found me accidentally when I was convinced to take senior pictures for students when I was a yearbook advisor in 2006. What started as a necessity, ignited a much bigger passion. I quickly outgrew the tiny Nikon point-and-shoot the yearbook owned and purchased my first digital SLR.

As a photographer, I love images that are classic yet slightly unexpected. I have an affinity for wide-open spaces and I love lens flare just a little more than I should. I love soft muted tones and golden hour shoots - but I also have appreciate bold and vibrant colors.
My goal as a photographer is to get to know my clients so that their personalities shine through in my images. I believe that great photo shoots start with great relationships with the client. Having your pictures taken should be fun and comfortable and you should enjoy the experience not dread it!

On a personal note, I am an East Coast transplant who recently traded in the traffic in Denver for the big sky 30 miles outside of Cheyenne. I live with my husband, two cats and three Weimaraners whom I can guarantee will get lots of coverage in my blog! When I'm not enjoying the peace and quiet of my little mountain house or working with clients, I am pursuing my other passion as a special education teacher in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

I look forward to meeting you!
